This is the privacy statement of LiveLunger (LiveLunger, we, our, us), a Belgian company located at Vlasgaardstraat 52, 9000 Ghent. LiveLunger is registered under the number BE1006932254. In this privacy statement you can read how we handle personal data of patients, care providers and business relations in relation to our services.
We collect data when you use our services. In doing so, we process personal data in a manner consistent with the General Data Protection Regulation (the "GDPR"), implementing legislation based on the GDPR and other currently applicable privacy laws. Our privacy notice applies to anyone using our services. By using our services, you understand and agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this privacy policy.
LiveLunger is developing the home measurement platform (LungBeat). Healthcare institutions and healthcare providers can purchase our services. On our platform, we process the following information from users on behalf of healthcare institutions. Type of user (patient, healthcare provider, admin), ordinary personal data for login (patient number, name, phone number, email address, date of birth, gender, BSN number), health data (diagnosis, information about conditions, weight, height, medication, history), special personal data (ethnicity), chat messages between patients and healthcare providers, education level, account start date, app settings, measurements and values and frequencies, functional cookies (browser, IP address, OS), logging of usage (date and time).
The healthcare institution may only process personal data through the platform if there is a legal basis for doing so. In most cases, this is the implementation of the Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO) between healthcare provider and patient. We process the personal data on the platform on behalf of the healthcare institution (or other responsible party) and do not need an independent processing basis for this. The healthcare institution hereby defines the purposes for which they process personal data through the platform. We are not permitted to provide information ourselves about the personal data we process on behalf of these institutions.
We always share the personal data we process from you on the platform with your healthcare provider. We may also share your personal data with third parties from whom we obtain services (subcontractors). We agree with the healthcare providers (or other responsible parties) which third-party services we use. We always enter into a sub-processor agreement to ensure that these third parties handle your personal data with care just as we do.

We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure your data against any form of unlawful processing. We operate in compliance with NEN7510 and have taken necessary security measures for this purpose.

By using our services, you leave certain data with us, for example by creating an account or when you contact us by phone, e-mail or social media. This may include data such as name, e-mail address, telephone number and payment details.
We do not process personal data about you for our own purposes when you use the platform as a patient or healthcare provider.
